Machine-to-Machine Intelligence Corporation (M2Mi) based in Moffett Field, CA has recently published M2M and IoT manufacturing insights in CIO Story, a technology publishing house based in Campbell, California. CIO Story invited M2Mi’s Senior Product Manager, Louis-P. Lamoureux PhD, to contribute for a technology special edition on SAP, Billing & IoT.
The contribution came in the format of an article. It examines current challenges faced by IoT and M2M device manufacturers such as increased competitive space. The article also explores different ways to mitigate for loss in revenues. One tangible solution being the conception of value added services by considering the physical object as a digital data product.
The article then goes on to explain the importance of sophisticated business metering tools in order to optimize pricing and profits. It explores 2 usecases of different complexity to describe how critical the need for such tools is important.
